One of her most famous parts was her role in the character of Emily Hartley in the TV series The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978. Pleshette was Christine Broderick on Nightingales in 1989. She was Jackie Hansen in the television show The Boys Are Back from 1994 until 1995. Pleshette was a regular in the TV series Suzanne Pleshette is Maggie Briggs, Good Morning, Miami, 8 Simple Rules, Will & Grace. She was also a part of The Geisha Boy and The Birds. She was nominated for an Annie Award for her singing in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. Pleshette was awarded two Golden Globe Awards nominations.
