Ky-ManiKy-mani's Marley, who's nearing completion of his third album untitled, is definitely a superstar. Ky-mani Marley was born the daughter of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis champion) and Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who won several titles), on February 26 1977 in Falmouth. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". As a person who lives up the title, every album and trip is an experience. His musical voyage began in the year 1999 with The Journey. His vast vision of music allowed Ky-mani to discover his own niche, and to explore his many talents. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae album , was released exposing a more mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well received worldwide, thus solidifying Ky-Mani's position as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani has earned a reputation for his distinct blend that combines hip-hop with R&B along with some modern jazz.
