Amy Smart is a former American actor and model. Amy Smart was born and brought up in California, America. She began the modeling profession in Italy. Her acting career started in 1996 when she starred in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It took some time to be a part of Starship Troopers in a smaller role. It was difficult when she had to change between modeling and acting because the models were never believed to be actors, and they were usually granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy persevered. She made her way to greater roles, starting in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. The 2005 romance comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her take on more prominent roles. Amy attained the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years after her film called Just Friends came out. She did some big films within the Crank trilogy opposite Jason Statham. And she had a part in a series of recurring roles on the Shameless series.
