Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a actress, playwright director, producer, and teacher of St. Thomas University). Her father hails from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's earliest memories include attending play rehearsals and observing her mother at her job. Anna appeared in numerous commercials as a kid. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, to further her acting career. Then, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They were engaged by 2009, after they got married.
