Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles in her early life through her imaginative and creative imagination. Even before learning to write or read and compose her own songs. In the year she turned 8years old, she purchased her first electric guitar. She began singing on an Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. That following year, she made her debut album for Gold Band Records an independent small-scale label. Although she was in school, she had already made a name of herself within the local arena. However, her goal was to be able to make music on a greater scale. After graduating from high school in 1964, she moved straight to Nashville. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. At about this time Porter Wagoner was looking for an actress to sing for the show he had syndicated to television. Parton became a member of Grand Ole Opry 1969 after having signed to RCA Records. The year 1974 was the first that she decided to leave Wagoner's program as the popularity of her solo albums including Joshua Coat, Many Colors, and Jolene had outstripped their collaborative efforts. Parton, after the split of their partnership with Wagoner was the one to write"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and saw it climb to Number. The first time it made it to No. 1 was 1974.
